„Colour therapy to survive the ugliest month of the far too long winter“
Experimental-Film-Processing-Workshop at the 12th Dresdner Schmalfilmtagen

The third wabisabi workshop at the Small Format Festival!

The worst month of the year: cold, wet, white-greyish half-melted snow lying around … there's only one solution: the amazingly warming Super 8 colour therapy!!

A workshop with 7 participants, 7 cameras, 7 rolls of Kodak Ektachrome 100D, fine grains and warm colours, a miraculous film that turns grey muddy surroundings and weather into something Mediterranean! Almost psychedelic, especially the red color!

We dove into the wabisabi universe, animated ourselves and other things, developed ideas and everybody took a camera home overnight to continue.
The second day we heated everything up to subtropical 38 degrees and developed all films together!
In the end every participant had his or her own personal 3 minute heart warming winter resistant Super-8-Film:
Jill, Florian, Susi, Daniel, Frank, Sven, Vinzenz!!
